While each of those games is, in its own right, worthy of some degree of unpacking, Sean, Crystal and DTN are our resident Tales experts, Joel and Aaron would be better equipped to discuss a JoJo’s game, and Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme Vs-Force literally came out less than a week ago in Japan, so there’s not a lot to talk about yet. This was by no means the only game they announced, of course in addition to this announcement, they also graced us with an announcement for Tales of Berseria, a JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure game dubbed Eyes of Heaven, an internally developed Mobile Suit Gundam game dubbed Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme Vs-Force, and another God Eater game, dubbed Resurrection, so it was a pretty stacked announcement all around. If you played earlier games in the genre, like Monster Hunter, maybe you'd understand.Well, after ten long months of hints and teases, it’s official: God Eater 2: Rage Burst has been announced for a Western release (literally less than a week after I imported it, not that I’m bitter), courtesy of Bandai Namco (Namco Bandai in the US, but I’m just going to use Bandai Namco for simplicity) themselves (EDIT: We now have an official release date see below for details). Maybe you don't have the mentality of action hunting game and that's why you're not having a good time. That doesn't mean the game is like Breath of the Wild, it just more of the same without loading screens in between. Instead, it's just a big open world where you need to find the objective monster(s). The only difference is that the "stages" are not segmented, which is a staple of the genre that Monster Hunter started.

You choose a monster(s) to fight, go into the world, kill it, the mission ends, you return to the town and that's it. If I'm not mistaken (since I haven't played it) Toukiden 2 has the same approach to gameplay as all action hunting games. If you level them up to the max level, 99, you'll unlock a costume to reflect that. Regarding what a previous user said, increasing you Life and Magic levels will affect the looks of only your right arm. There are a ton of customizables in the game. You can actually fight besides him, and if you achieve max "friendship" with him, you unlock his costume to look just like him.

Regarding the guy at 0:44 in the video, if I'm not mistaken, that's Monstrox, a character in the game which was a powerful sorcerer, and from sacrificing too much, had its arm and appearance mutated to look like the monsters he once absorbed. Fun game, better than Kiwami imo but still doesn't compare to most open world games. Some of the quests are at least more interesting then Toukiden 1/Kiwami and utilize the world but most are still hunt x monster, get x material. To be honest, I'm disappointed in the open world since it mainly consists of invisible-wall flanked roadways leading to open areas, with minor verticality as opposed to the areas in the recent Monster Hunters. (EDIT: There are also some small abandoned towns but they mainly serve as corridors/arenas like everything else.) Toukiden 2 has one town, everything else is wilderness and the occasional empty small abandoned structure. In Delta they changed it so that instead you unlocked cosmetic sigils for your arm that would allow you to change into those forms, letting you keep your appearance the way you liked. This would override any outfit you had iirc.

In Soul Sacrifice, reaching a certain ratio of Magic vs Life would change not just your arm but your character.
