The conversation, while short, was immensely interesting and quite promising. I still had some booths to visit in a pretty short time and they seemed somewhat stressed too (some of them wore Leica vests and were apparently doing double-duty) - so I thanked them and went on my way. It was also mentioned that a full-scale production and resale in drug stores like Rossmann will happen though they didn't mention any concrete dates. They have partnered with the imaging industry distributer antonKUNZE GmBH in Hamburg who also distribute AgfaPhoto (Agfa APX), Yashica, Tiffen and Steadicam products. Upon further questioning I got the following news they are actively working on getting film out there and managing their supply line. Their pricing was about 15€ for the NC 500 and 9.90€ for the NP 100 - the boxes were still a bit rough in print quality but that's to be expected from a "Limited Edition".

Naturally, I bought a roll plus some NP 100 B&W negative film. And, luckily, I actually did - at least for a little while.Īnd now to the interesting part they actually sold their new (and at the moment completely sold-out) Wolfen Color NC 500 colour film right there over the counter. But I was mainly there to speak to someone from Filmotec GmBH or, as most people likely know them, ORWO. I was somewhat late and it was the last day so I probably missed all the highlights. As the title mentions I attended the 2022 Photopia imaging fair in Hamburg today.
